Financing
The loan side, handled by the same person.
Alex has originated residential mortgages for 28+ years. If you want the financing and the representation under one roof, that is available. If you would rather keep them separate, that is completely fine and changes nothing about how he works for you.
Why it helps to have one person watching both
A purchase is really two processes running on the same clock. The contract has deadlines and the loan has conditions, and they are usually managed by people who have never spoken. When the appraisal comes in low or underwriting asks for one more document on day twenty-four, somebody has to solve it fast.
Alex has sat on the lending side of that problem for 28+ years. Whether he is writing your loan or coordinating with the lender you chose, he knows what is coming and when to escalate.
Programs he works with
- Conventional, FHA, VA and jumbo financing
- Bank statement and alternative documentation programs for self-employed borrowers
- DSCR and investment property financing
- Refinancing, including cash-out for buyers using equity from a current home

Mortgage details at alexshik.comBringing your own lender?
Genuinely no problem. A meaningful share of Alex's clients do, and some pay cash. Representation terms, service and attention do not change.
What he will do is coordinate with your lender the way he would with his own file: confirm the pre-approval is real, track conditions, and flag trouble early rather than the week of closing.
Already pre-approved?
Send the letter over when you reach out. It tells Alex a lot about what you can pursue and how competitive your offer will look.

Alex has originated residential mortgages for 28+ years alongside his real estate practice. If it is useful to you, the loan side can be handled by the same person who negotiates your contract. If you would rather use your own lender, that is completely fine.
A note on how this site is organized
Detailed mortgage content, program guidelines, rate discussion and lending disclosures are published on alexshik.com, which is Alex's mortgage practice. This site covers his real estate practice. Keeping them separate means neither one buries the other, and it means you always know which license you are dealing with.
Mortgage financing is offered separately from real estate brokerage services and is subject to credit approval, income and asset documentation, property appraisal and program guidelines. Not all applicants will qualify. This is not a commitment to lend. Licensing and disclosures: NMLS #335813, see alexshik.com.
One conversation covers both sides
Tell Alex what you are buying or selling and he will lay out the real estate plan and the financing options together.
